Bismark Mensah, an employee at Walmart, saw a customer accidentally leave an envelope in their empty cart. When Bismark picked up the envelope, he realized that it was stuffed full with $20,000 cash! Who carries $20,000 in cash around? 🙂 Bismark immediately ran after the customer and gave them the envelope before they took off.
“Not only did he find the money, he looked at it and he literally chased the people down,” Jeremy Smith, Bismark’s manager stated. “It wasn’t like it was convenient for him or easy for him, this was something he willfully did above and beyond the call of duty.”
Walmart has honored Bismark with the “Integrity In Action” award for his actions!
