Deep in the Sierra de San Carlos mountain ranges in Mexico, roughly 5,000 cave paintings have been discovered.  These paintings show a rare glimpse into the an ancient culture where little is known about their language and customs.

These paintings display examples of daily life including hunting, animals, insects, and possible astronomical charts!

The discovery was recently presented during the Second Conference of Archaeological History in Mexico City.

And that’s what’s good,

Jon
